YMCA Jinja was established in April, 1963 and it's one of the branches with its Headquarters located in wandegeya kampala, YMCA stands for Young Men's Christian Association. The program to open up YMCA Jinja branch was initiated by Mr-lokamo kairo lubogo in September 1972 The Mission of the institution is to empower young people and communities worldwide to build a just sustainable, equitable and inclusivity where everyone can thrive in body, mind spirit The institution also looks up to embracing leadership and livelihood programs to Break barriers and bridge gaps around income and comunities to develop wellness and sustainable development goals
