Egerton University is the oldest institution of higher education learning in Kenya. It's located in Nakuru, Rift Valley Region. It was founded by as a Farm School in 1939 by Lord Maurice Egerton of Tatton, a British national who settled in Kenya in the 1920s. The Vision and Mission of this institution is to become: “A World Class University for the advancement of humanity” and “To generate knowledge and offer exemplary education and training to society for national and global development” respectively. The core value of Egerton University behind enthusiastic participation in the ASLA is (ii) Integrity, Transparency and Accountability.
