I am Paul Mwika, immediate former Chairperson , Maseno University Christian Union. I've served the varsity's Christian Union for one academic year with a committee of twelve. Through the year, that ended 3rd of November, 2024, we managed to transform the Christian Union, by effective leadership development programs, Discipleship and student oriented programs and growth of the union in terms of membership and assets. Pioneered mentorship of the students by bring on board the Alumni association, advocated for Integrity in the Christian Union, attended Ecumenical leadership conferences that helped conduct ana Interfaith University Prayer Day, demonstrated financial stewardship of the Union finances, campaigned fur Environmental stewardship and carried out market cleanups in the university market, mobilized the members for Mission work and charity activities, for instance visited a Children's Home. Impacted the union with a student tailored program, that foresaw the development of the members and their preparation to the life after campus. Kept on check the University Student leadership that resulted to recognition by university administration through the Dean of Students' Affairs.
