My name is Abuko Michael Nyende, a student leader at St. Paul's University Kenya that has served as the Supreme Finance Secretary of the St. Paul's University Students Association (SPUSA). I was incharge of 4 campuses with 4 treasurers under me. My main roles were to draft the SPUSA annual budget and to ensure students' funds were utilised in the most transparent way possible. Under my leadership, we are the first government in the history of St. Paul's University whose financial records were scrutinized and audited, and we came out clean. Under my leadership, I came up with SPUSA bursaries that enables needy students to register units and to do exams comfortably without financial stress. This is a legacy I left in office and I'm still remembered for that. I was able to effectively handle the finances of over 60000 students with integrity.
